<div itemprop="description">Hubert Morey <br />Age 73 <br /> <br /> Hubert Howard Morey was born on January 1st, 1941 to Titus and Emily Morey. As a young man he came to Shoe Cove and met the love of his life Pearl Wimbleton. They were married on September 11, 1963. Together they raised 4 children. <br />Hubert was a very hard worker in his day, a true entrepreneur - truck driver &amp; heavy equipment operator, just to name a couple. When the fishery closed down in 1995 he moved to Ontario where he was employed as a Manager of a high rise apartment building. After working for only 5 weeks he had to be hospitalized and thereafter continued to experience health challenges for the past 19 years. <br />Hubert was blessed to have spent his last 2 weeks visiting family &amp; friends in Newfoundland, reconnecting with many of his friends and family that he hadn&rsquo;t seen in years and enjoyed many of his favorite Newfie dishes . <br />He passed peacefully away in Grand Falls at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Centre with his family by his side on Thursday July 31, 2014 in the evening at 7:29 p.m. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. <br />Hubert was predeceased by; his father, Titus, mother, Emily, brothers Peter and Roland, sisters Effie, Velma, Rosella &amp; Velma. <br /> <br /> <br />Left with fond and loving memories are; his wife, Pearl, 4 children, Angela Manuel (Brian) Brampton, ON, Kim Morey (Simon Robichaud) Orangeville, ON, Jeff Morey (Michelle) Shoe Cove, NL, Kayla Morey (Keith Gaslard) Brampton, ON. Grandchildren, Brianne Manuel, Megan Morey, Zoe Morey Gaslard and Reece Morey Gaslard. <br /> <br />Siblings (in laws) Millicent Morey, St. John&rsquo;s, NL, Cyril Morey (Evelina) Robert&rsquo;s Arm, NL, Harvey Morey (Velma) Shoe Cove, NL, Adolphus Morey (Vera) Port Anson, NL, Freeman Morey (Myra) Shoe Cove, NL, Samuel Morey (Emma) Labrador, NL, Roy Morey (June) Port Anson, NL, Guy Morey (Brenda) Campbelton, NL, Shirley Rowsell (David) Port Anson, NL &amp; Lloyd Burton Port Anson, NL. As well as Henry Wimbleton (Rose) Shoe Cove NL, and Daisy Blanchard (Wayne) Shoe Cove, NL.
