Passed away peacefully, with his wife by his side, after a lengthy illness on June 16, 2013 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Patricia for 30 years. Dear father of the late Vanna, Leroy Junior, Tanya, Deborah, Lisa, Lenore, and Lerone. Grandfather of two. Brother of Canice (St. Lucia), Christopher (Barbados), Margaret and Celine (both of New York). Brother-in-law of Justina, Everton, Felix, Franklin (all of USA), Fillan, Herald, Alderic (St. Lucia). He leaves his aunts, uncles and cousins. LeRoy was a very influential leader in the Black community in Montreal, and leaves a huge void for those who knew him. Family and friends will be received at the SCOTT FUNERAL HOME "Brampton Chapel," 289 Main Street North, Brampton (905-451-1100) on Friday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11 a.m. Private cremation.
