<div itemprop="description">Faiola, Mario<br /><br />It is with great sadness The Faiola Family announces the passing of their beloved Mario Faiola on March 16, 2015 with his loving family by his side. Mario was born on July 5th, 1939 in Fondi, Latina, Italy to Giuseppe and Maria. He came to Canada in 1962 where he met and married his wife of 50 years Lidia DeMelis. Together they raised their three children Giuseppe, Enrico, and Maria Luisa. Mario founded and operated Faiola Import Company Ltd. In Brampton with his family. He was well respected and admired by many for his friendliness, kind heart, great sense of humour, and lastly his gift for engaging in great conversation. He was the Cherished Husband of Lidia. Devoted father of Giuseppe (Lora), Enrico, and Maria Luisa (Vito Gironda). Loving Nonno of Amanda, Daniel, and Julia. Admired brother of Aldo (Rosalba), Vincenzo (Maria), and Gina, all of Italy. Mario will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all his close family and friends in Canada and Italy. Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home &ldquo;Brampton&rdquo; Chapel, (289 Main Street North) on Thursday March 19, 2015 and Friday March 20, 2015 from 2 &ndash; 4 and 6 &ndash; 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Leonard&rsquo;s Roman Catholic Church (187 Conestoga Dr. Brampton) on Saturday March 21, 2015 at 9:30 am. Mario will be laid to rest in Queen of Heaven Cemetery (7300 Hwy. #27, Woodbridge). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospital for Sick Children or the Canadian Cancer Society in loving memory of Mario would be appreciated by the family.
