Teresita Espejo (nee Rivera)
On the first day of 2015 we lost our beloved mother. She was 70 years young. Throughout our time together she showed her family the true meaning of unconditional love, devotion and sacrifice. With every challenge she faced, she persevered with strength and determination. She surpassed all expectation despite setbacks, but her body was a frail vessel for her indomitable spirit. She will always be an inspiration to her children and grandchildren. She will continue to provide her children and grandchildren with everlasting love and guidance as she watches over us as our angel. During her life she earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Feati University, Manila, Philippines and worked for 30 years at Canadian Tire Corporation. With sadness, she leaves her three children, Jocelyn and her husband Brad, Joseph and his wife Maia, Joanne and her husband Everett. Cherished grandmother to Logan, Mason, Vanessa, Madison, Hayden, and Nolan. Daughter to Paciencia and beloved sister (Ate) to Virgilio and his wife Teresita, Sylvia and her husband Henedino, Maximina and her husband Gerald, and Emmanuel and his wife Jacquelyn. Preceded by her father Pedro and brothers Juanito (Ester) and Domingo (Ine). We will love and miss her always and forever. Family and friends will be received at Scott Funeral Home (289 Main Street North, Brampton, 905 - 451 - 1100) on Tuesday, January 6 from 5 - 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church (66 Main Street South, Brampton)on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Assumption Cemetery 6933 Tomken Road.
