Peacefully departed at Westside Long Term Care Home on Sunday, January 2016.
Predeceased by her beloved husband John Lima (2009). Loving mother of Jeannette, Patrick, Paul and Ruth. Wonderful Grandma of Heather, Elizabeth and Kyah, and Great Grandma of Andrew, Nathan, Jessica, Jonathan and Aria.
Catherine (Katie) will be greatly missed by her brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces and nephews. Catherine made a commitment to Christ at a young age and played the piano in a number of Italian Churches across Canada. She taught Sunday School, sang in the church choir and was involved in Women’s Ministry.
Catherine’s gentle soul and sweet smile touched all she met. Her quiet courage and strength impacted greatly on her family. She was a wonderful example of a friend of Jesus to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
