1954 - 2016
After battling a long illness, Janice passed away peacefully in her sleep on the 1st of November, 2016 at Brampton Civic Hospital in the presence of her family.
Beloved wife to Robert, proud mother to Eric, Heather, and Mark, dear sister to Mary Ellen, and dutiful aunt to Ross and Megan, her absence will be deeply felt by all those she touched.
A dedicated teacher of 30 years and lifelong mystery novel enthusiast, her career and interests were eclipsed only by her commitment to family and faith.
She will be remembered as a pillar of strength and a constant source of guidance, survived not only by her family, but by the charity and compassion that she brought into the world.
Family and Friends will be received at Scott Funeral Home “Brampton” Chapel (289 Main Street North) on Sunday November 6, 2016 from 3 – 6 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will held in Holy Cross Catholic Church (14400 Argyll Road. Georgetown) on Monday November 7, 2016 at 9:30 am. Interment in St James Cemetery, (41 Catholic Church Road, Mallorytown) on Monday November 7, 2016 at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, and if desired, donations can be made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
