Peacefully, surrounded by her family at Extendicare Brampton on Sunday August 30, 2015 at the age of 93 years. Marguerite, beloved wife of the late Jean Fortier. Loving mother of Claude (Lise), Jacques, Lise and Gilles (Noemi). Dear sister-in-law of Sister Gisèle, Marguerite Beaudreau and her late husband Jean and the late Paul and his surviving wife Huguette Fortier. Cherished grandmother of Jean-Franҫois Fortier (Brigitte), Marianne Dubeau (Marc), Joël Fortier (Nadia) and Jèrèmie Fortier and great-grandmother to Sophie, Félix, Leah, Jaime and Simon. Special thanks to the staff at Extendicare Brampton, Dr. G. Masterson and Dr. M. Brent and his staff of Donald K Johnson Eye Centre at Toronto Western Hospital. The family will receive friends on at the Scott Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel” 289 Main St. N., on Tuesday September 1, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday September 2, 2015 10:30 a.m. at the Sainte-Famille Church, 1780 Meadowvale Blvd Mississauga, ON. An internment will take place at a later date at St. Michel’s Cemetery in Trois-Rivieres, QC. In lieu of flowers donations to the Donald K. Johnson Eye Centre would be appreciated.
