<div itemprop="description">It is with great sorrow that our family announces the passing of our beloved Rudolph on January <br>23, 2017 at the age of 93 years at the Extendicare Brampton. Rudolph is reunited in Heaven with his <br>cherished wife of 67 years Gina Grimaldi (2015), his parents Giovanni (1942), Ambrosina Orlando (1972) <br>and his siblings Armand (1979), Gus (Elliot Lake 2010) and Eva Lavorato (1995). Dear father of John <br>(Colette) of Brampton. Adored “Nonno” of James (Katherine) of Mississauga and Megan of Guelph. He <br>will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and godchildren. Rudolph was born in Timmins on <br>July 29, 1923 but his childhood years were spent in Piane Crati, Cosenza Italy before returning to Canada <br>in 1937. He was a founding member of the Porcupine Dante Club. He was a great story teller and <br>enjoyed sharing memories of life in Italy and stories about the mines in the Timmins area. “Rudy” was a <br>former employee of Preston, Kam Kotia and Kidd Creek Mines. He will be deeply missed by all who knew <br>him. Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home “Brampton” Chapel, (289 Main Street <br>North, Brampton) on Friday January 27, 2017 from 4 – 8pm. Visitation will continue at the <br>Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (150 Balsam Street South, Timmins) on Sunday January 29, 2017 <br>from 2 – 5 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in <br>Timmins Ont., on Monday January 30 at 10:30 am. Interment in Timmins Memorial Cemetery to <br>follow.
