Joan passed away on January 9th 2017 of complications from pneumonia and Parkinson’s. She was 84. Born in New Jersey, Joan and her family moved to Canada in the early 70’s and remained here for the rest of her life. Joan was a member of Kennedy Road Tabernacle for many years, and was a longtime resident of the Heritage in Brampton. Joan’s work resume included an extended stay at Esselte Canada as a respected executive assistant, and many postings within numerous Evangelical Church Ministries. She was indeed devoted to the Lord for so many years. Anyone wishing to pay their final respects to Joan is welcome to visit Scott Funeral Home Brampton (289 Main Street North, (905) 451- 1100) on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with an inurnment of Cremated Remains to follow at a later date at Brampton Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations to the Parkinson Canada Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
